This week has gone quite differently from the other one. The only things that really changed were the fact that I was left alone for the first time to complete certain tasks. They were very difficult ones, but still, it was nice to have gained the confidence of my coworkers and supervisor enough to be trusted with such tasks. Also, I have had my supervisor be the first one to complete my survey. This therefore means the beginning of the collection of responses to my survey. Also, I was very quickly introduced to the microbiology department, in which i have transferred bacteria’s from one medium to a multitude of different ones. This task is necessary in order to identify the bacteria’s. Fun fact before i finish this entry blog: 75% of woman will encounter a yeast infection at least once in their lives.

We were slowly but steadily getting ready for the big meeting that will be taking place this weekend. During this weekend, there will be meetings in order to discuss the possibilities of projects for each city, the amount of money that will be given out and so on. I am also preparing slowly for next week, where I will be joining a meeting that is organized for children with the president of Gdynia.
Start up
I participated during the first day of the wolf summit conference and dropped out after the first two hours. I was met late by the volunteer recruiter, who was unable to find me a task to do. The event itself was very well organized, but I had a terrible experience with the organizers and those who took care of the volunteers. However, I am quite excited for the upcoming two weeks for there are a multitude of events that were planned. I was also asked to prepare a small presentation about how in Canada do students start their own businesses. I chose to cover more the financial aspect, for I felt that that was the aspect with which most students struggle with during the beginning of the their businesses.
